The serie started so well but the last 2 episodes have been utter rubbish.

I think it was written in a slightly different fashion merely to explore different layers of doctor who, but it did require alot of skill which was clearly not had 6/10 from me.

Well Bad Wolf was mentioned in this episode....maybe it was thevirus the doctor gave mickey in aliens of london/ww3?
As with the previous episode, The Satan Pit, there is a possible hint at the departure of Rose Tyler, which has been announced as taking place at the end of Series 2. In The Satan Pit the Beast says Rose will "very soon die in battle." In this episode, while pondering the dangers of the Doctor's lifestyle, Elton muses that anyone who comes in contact with the Doctor is destroyed and wonders "how long before Rose and Jackie are?"
