I liked all the religious dialog in S27 Ep13 -- the Emperor Dalek had built his race from dust and served as supreme god to them (even though it didn't have the power to do any tricks the likes of which the TARDIS did). I found it a refreshing change from the Davros-Hitler analogy for exterminating humans for the sake of ethnic purity; The idea that the Daleks need a promised land to go to seems a hugely different motivation for extermination than any eps past (in which they need to kill all non-Dalek). Given that these Daleks differ fundamentally from the Davros-consturcted ones (in that E.D.'s creations use Humans to fuel them and not ugly little Kaled's). So it makes sense that their philosophies are different too. |

RTD has done a terrific job at rebranding the Daleks.
I can't see them on anymore Kit Kat adverts, can you?

i agree! i was really impressed by the dialog written for the emporer. in fact i think everything dalek realted in the whole of season was perfect.

Quite a few years back now (well... about 6, I think)
There were two of them forming a queue of people, dancing around a supermarket singing "Peace and Joy!"
It was on one of the confidentials, I think. Or the program before the episode.
