This place goes quiet for a couple of months then all of a sudden RTD announces a Jack spin-off (and I said that there was going to be one so I hate to say it but told you so!) and now the Jack folder is humming with speculation once again!
Just like old times... now we need RTD to give us a few more clues on The Christmas Special and Series 2 to get a few other categories thriving once again!

What do you all expect to see in the spin-off series? Some of Jack's boy friends, perhaps? Will he be different because The Doctor and Rose were not around (Don't forget, Jack changed his ways when the Doctor made him realise he was the one who created the gas mask people). Will we see him as a Time Agent or still a rogue character pre-Doctor and Rose?

i still can't quite believe this is happening, part of me thinks deako's commisioned it!!
i would be interested in jack's missing years
do you think piper/ecclestone/tennant will make brief appearances if it's set after series1? what if his actions in torchwood affect the timeline in series 2/3
oooo what if his missing two years involve adam in some way, jack may be responsible for more than we think 
i could keep ooo-ing all night at ideas i think, but i shouldn't

I think that we can forget torchwood affecting sereis 2/3 or special visits from othere people. The two shows will NOT be connected in any way.
