Episode 1: New EarthSo, just done watching. Let's go and discuss it.
Few ideas from me.
- How was it possible that Cassandra interacted with her earlier self and even touched without there being a paradox, such as there would have been if Rose had touched baby-Rose in Father's Day?
- Kind of stupid having the face of Boe appear without there being any plot to it. Maybe this appearance was just to bring some information into the series that will help later stories. Being the last of his kind, having a secret the doctor should know about. But why didn't the writers have him disappear before the Doctor went to see him again. Thought it was a bit of an anticlimax like this.
- The novice kept giving the Doctor this look when being taken away by the NNYPD. She will appear again. I'm betting on it. Lots of characters from the series have multiple appearances. Tooth and Claw sounds like an episode which could feature catwomen again.
- I don't think the special word has come to attention in this episode.
By the way. I noticed the new theme-music at the end. Has a lot more from the original theme.

Completely setting up the next episode in which he is featured. To all of you who said he'd be back (even before the final CE episode), I apologise. Honestly, I didn't see him being that important!

Well in all the books aladins genie is metioned....
Anyway I like the Bo plot, i think it was setting up later storys. Tooth and Claw refers to a werewolf.

Cheers for clearing that up.
Right. Because of my hearing I couldn't make out a word in New Earth. I've listenerd numerous times (on video-tape) and am still stuck.
In the first scene featuring the Duke of Manhattan, he says a word to his helper. Now, it could of very easily been her name. For examle: "Jones". -- Still, who knows, eh?
