Episode Two - Tooth and ClawWell Torchwood seems to be having a very big affect on this series already! I think it was a great episode and very Doctor Who! I much prefered it to last weeks.
Just a quick something...does anyone think Bad Wolf seems to be continuing? I mean we saw Bad Wolf last episode and this episode someone says to Rose- You've seen the wolf before, and it bright as the sun...I mean it might have just been a coincidence but....
Also hwo brilliant! The Doctor being knighted and banished!

Me too!
I really keep hoping that not being able to watch Torchwood will not stop me from understanding secrets in this Doctor-season.
I think Torchwood will is a secret that will be cleared up later on. Close to when the Doctor and Rose will be reunited with captain Jack. Maybe in season three, maybe in the next Christmas Special...
So far picked up Torchwood three times:
- Bad Wolf episode: "The great cobalt pyramid is built on the remains of which old Earth institute.", the right answer being "Torchwood"
- Harriėt Jones' orders to Torchwood in the Christmas Invasion
- The founding of the Torchwood Institute by Queen Victoria and her explaining what she wants Torchwood to do.
I think "Torchwood" and "Bad Wolf" (I also think that mystery continues) are somehow connected.
The whole idea of wolf cells being passed on from generation to generation in the British royal family is not as stupid as Rose thinks. I'm guessing that what The Doctor suggests, about a member of the royal family in the beginning of the 21st century is going to happen.
Few remarkable things:
- The Wolf gave the Doctor an instruction (increase the power of the lightbeam) to destroy it. Why? At first I thought the possesed man wanted to free his body from the werewolf, but the body desintergrated...
- Why is the Doctor knighted Sir Doctor of Tardis, while he had made up some name when he introduced himself to the queen?
I didn't tape it this time so I can't watch it again untill I download it and I watched it without ceefax-subtitles so I may not have heard everything properly.

GReat Episode"" Well happy with it. Anyone pick up the two details which inextricably link the episode to the 1996 TV movie?? I think they are both red herrrings but definately put there on purpose.. Will post them in a couple of days if you don't get them.

Not a clue. The name is notsome name, it is one of The Doctor's second companions.

1. Monks?
2. The Doctor?

Zhord

And what happened to the remaining monks at the end of the episode?

The two things which in my humble opinion link the TAC episode to the 1996 TV movie are 1=) the very short and intermmitant scene were the werewolf creature is still a man in a cage and he places his finger on his lips and says SSHHHHHHHHH. I was absolutely convinced that it must be the Master as this was exactly (and I mean exactly right down to the lip formation) what the master did just as he had taken over Bruces Body and broken Bruces wifes neck with one hand! 2) The music at the end. I am sure the credits at the end of the episode use the Trumpets and is the 1996 arrangement.
Anyway I reckon that they are both very clever red Herrings put in to put us off the scent, but there you are.

Bring back the Master 2006 campaighn is in full swing!
Btw, Zhord, when the Monks saw the wolf die they might of fled... Don't see why though, they could of just taken the throne by force kung-fu karate style.
