Fav. Caracter? Who did you like best? I loved Rose and Jack.

I liked the Doctor, has the 9th one was different than the other Doc's yet you could still see the other Doc's in him.
Adam is also a favourite and he must appear in the future.
I was also gutted to see Lynda with a "y" die in "Parting of the Ways Part 2" as I thought that she would be a character to survive and follow the Doctor.

Definately the Doctor, Van Statten was also quite good.

Like I remarked in the other thread, I loved the Doctor being laconic alot of times (the kind of come and get me attitude) and him sometimes thinking quite careless about serious matters.
I don't know how earlier sidekicks of the Doctor were placed in teh series, but I really liked Rose's mother and boyfriend appearing in the series that much. Rose wants to travel but at the same time she can't leave her home behind. Adds some nice extra drama and interesting characters to the series.
And I'm not talking about Jack untill I figure out what's the deal with him. He fits in to easily. He's experienced. His personality is very much like the Doctor only Jack is younger in his behaviour and thinking.

I also have to say that Noel Clarke (Mickey) is a very good actor. I liked this character. He's not so dumb as he seems.

The Face of Boe must have more of a part to play in the new series because he appeared on the Bad Wolf TV channel as well from episode 2.

I don't think the Face Of Boe has anything to do with anything... Just a little something put in as a small joke... Which you Wholigans believe is a red herring!

Re: Clive from the first episode.Hi all,
Just thought I would post this.
The actor who plays Clive is in the film 'The Reckoning'. Good to see him acting in films, even if probably one which has been missed.
Worth checking out.
He plays a Norman jailer...
Also stars Willem Defoe, Brian Cox and others you would recognise.
