Haven't seen this discussed...If Rose/Time Vortex destroyed the Daleks and brought Jack back to life, could she have also brought the Time Lords back into existence?
Do you think Earth's time line was put back on the right track or do you think its still basically uninhabitable?

i guess she could have done, but the destruction/ressurection thing seemed to spread from her outwards, the daleks nearest to her went first if i remember correctly, and jack was the nearest deaded person.
the wave of ressurection would have continued on to others if the doctor hadn't stopped her,
my guess is that she didn't bring the timelords back, and the earth is still a mess, but there doesn't seem to be much stopping her from doing that kind of thing again, except it might kill her....
maybe that's how she departs???

If the timelords would be brought back into existance that would mean that The Doctor would probably stop traveling and go home. End of the adventures. He did envy the newly weds in Fathers Day.

Good idea kat. Maybe in a later series, she looks into the heart of the TARDIS again, and it kills her.  I can imagine it in my head......

I can't really see Rose dieing. Maybe the Time Lords will return.. who knows? (Apart from RTD)

Doctor returning home for good?If the timelords do make an appearance, I dont think that Gallifrey will be brought back in the same story. Just a passing timelord or two to begin with, and of course add to the mystery-
The Doctor, in his last incarnation (C. Eccleston) did of course, on ocassion, envy our generally boring existence. However, on other occasions he accused us of ignorantly sitting around all day eating chips.
If gallifrey were good enough to hold the Doctor, there would be about a hundred years worth of questions to answer and then he would have to fulfill his responsabilities to the Time Lord council and basically become a civil servant (eating chips on his lunch break). This is of course what the Doctor has spent his entire lives runnning from /fighting against.

im thinking they can't bring back a lot of timelords because then they would have to explain why the doctor hasn't been able to feel them.
but i guess "the monk" if he hasn't already been dealt with since 'the time meddler'.
and the master, are all potentials to return.
also what about the timelords that were in 'dimensions in time'

I can see the time lords returning.....maybe The Doctor could do what the Emperor Dalek did...rebuild gallifrey (done before in a book) and maybe take DNA of himslef, and use it to rebuild the Time Lords or something like that!?

I don't think it really matters if the Timelords come back or not...geek alert...in an out-take from Revelation of the Daleks, Dr 7 describes himself as "more than just a Time Lord"...or something like that...bringing things to a conclusion (as I love to do) - the Doctor is precisely that. He is The Doctor. He sees what's wrong with the universe, he turns up and he fixes it - he cures disease. Gallifrey is where he came from, but that's it. Now we're getting into a Christian dichotomy with characters like the Mephistophilean Master - they used to be friends, no? Idle speculation...hit me with something...

so, if Rose could see the Daleks, all throughout time and history, and destroyed them all - wouldn't that mean the time wars never happened at all? since Rose has altered the whole of history to exclude Daleks Gallifrey should be ok !

As the Doctor said, Time is not in a straight line.
She could have destroyed the Daleks in the 4th Great and Bountiful Empire time (I don't know the dates) even though the Daleks could have fought in the Time War in the future.
I'm guessing that Rose destroyed the Daleks and the Daleks only, considering Time had already been changed since they were there. Tje Doctor left Captain Jack to rebuild the Earth, so I am guessing Time will be restored.

One of the old series episodes metioned the 10th Generation of Daleks. i f Rose said she destroyed them all, she may habve just destroyed that Generation?!

Dalek 0197 together with Dalek 0234 makes Dalek 3679. -- SIMPLE!
