Micky Smith leaving Dr Who for good :(Apparently, at the end of Episode 6, Micky Smith will leave the show for good and will not come back.
Some newspapers have said that he'll bump into his opposite, called Ricky and be left in the parallel world, whilst other newspapers have reported that Micky Smith will leave a hero.. possible even dieing.

Maybe he gets turned into a cyberman!! That would be something. A bit like Angel from Buffy being turned into a Vampire...... Cue the "Rose" DW music" oooooooooooooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeueeeeeeeeeooooooooooooo
The series is turning out to be brilliant!

They should kill someone!... I'm not sinister, but the series is gonna have to get dark sooner or later...

The Doctor

Well, there is a confidential episode called Mickey Smith: From zero to hero after episode six...so dnt look good, but until the bbc confirm it anything could happen

We should all clump our money together to by a coffin... 'Cause he's gonna need it! ...

Yep, he's not coming back. If he dies or not remains to be seen, but I'm positive that it'll only be two in the TARDIS again!

The Doctor

Well on Confidential, RTD says not everyone can survive the cybermen and we should all be looking at mickey, but maybe, Ricky goes with them lol

Or maybe Mikey goes to look after his Gran... Fake gran.

Pity. I think Mickey is a real good character (maybe even my favourite), but on the other hand, I do think it would be the right way to get perfect drama and finish him of as a hero. He deserves it.
I mean I don't think the relationship between Mickey and Rose is ever going to be allright again. She's way too much into the Doctor and the Doctor also gives him too little attention. Like Rose said: "I supose we always took him for granted"
But meanwhile Mickey has been developing. Brought good drama to series one. Clinging on to Rose, but at the same time affraid to go and travel with the Doctor (World War Three). Now he started to help them and guide them as their 'man in a van' and then made the step to go and travel with them.
Mickey's become less scared and less ignorant. He's grown up, let go of Rose some more and become independant. He earns more respect.
I guess it will come to a point where Ricky will have to fall into the hands of the cybermen, but to give Ricky a chance to save the world, Mickey takes his place and the cybermen can be defeated.

Maybe so... Good theory even if it dosen't!

a similar slant on that theory. Ricky dies while fighting the Cybermen and Mickey stays to take his place in rebuilding the "new alternative Earth".

or Ricky dies so Micky stays to look after his "gran"

Just seen the ROTC ep and I reckon that Mickey will be killed by breaking his grandmothers fall after taking a severe beating from her cane!

well, looks like scissens was right, i had an inckling it would be something like this, and after watching confidential (i finally have freeview YES!) i can now clearly see the development of Mickey from the school's out episode where he realisies "oh my god, i'm the tin dog!" and is not happy with that, up until his decision to stay in the parallel world
ripe for a spin off maybe, WHO knows

In years to come people will say in Pub Quizes:
"What is he name of the once popular British TV show that was famously ruined by it's 16 spin-off shows?"
The answer will be DW...
