Ok folks Im a bit bored at work so Ill try and remember some words from memory that kept cropping up in the last series. Although I dont know that we should be looking for one word. Did RTD suggest that we should look for a word in some interview??

My personal preferences are for "Time war" and "second chance" although I think RTD really, really likes the idea of Internet and television gone wrong. If he can do something there I think he will.

I now think I sounds pretty lame but one moment the possibility occured to me that the word "Buffalo" (the password for UNIT's website) could be a word just like Bad Wolf, that keeps returning. Why? Because unlike the other words, this word is free of a context. It's not meaning anything in any story and the other named words are.
Think of "Bad Wolf" mostly appearing at random places without a logical conext why the words are there. Just a meaningless randomly chosen signal.
Hmm. Doesn't sound so lame after all.

on the contrary, it's sounds quite a reasonable idea, also "Bison" was a password for UNIT at one point i believe, possibly the arc for the thrid series if this is the case?

wow yeah i like that idea, infact i think it make more sense then "time" being to 2nd word.
so as far as i can tell:

are the best we have so far.
oh and i wanted to say as well there is no reason why the word should have been heard more than once.

they are in the OED therefore they are words which you can use in a game of scrabble, which, lets face it is the most important thing
"a" and "I" are special words because they are the only words which have one phoneme or unit of sound

did anyone notice, i think it's when rose get's out of the tardis, when she comes back to the game station at the end of ep 13. The God of the Daleks says "the abomination" or " it's the abomination" directed at rose. i never really paid much attention to that, but i was just watching the Canadian CBC premier of EP 13 and it occured to me "how strange". i mean it's like he knew, he saw her and recognized her as the bad wolf/ or the abomination!!!
Ok some im just putting it out there, but let it be know that Sutekh The Destroyer thinks the 2nd word might be ABOMINATION!
Terror of Zygons : The Lamont alien claims it loathes the human abomination of a body.
Lamont alien: the Zygons have the terrifying power to change shape.

i saw the faint bad wolf, and just assumed it was cos they'd used the same stretch of tarmac in the last episode of series 1 when it was everywhere and it has been scrubbed off, we can see it cos they didn't scrub the whole playground and have left "badwolf" written in cleanness

I treckon the new word is Torchwood personally. RTD said that the word had been SAID in Series one and Torchwood is freqently appearing.

Well for us it's obvious, but that's because we pay extra attention to it. Everytime Torchwood has been named, it didn't yet catch The Doctor's and Rose's attention.
But on the other hand, it would be logical if Jack Harkness is involved when the Torchwood-mystery gets cleared up. And he wouldn't be back in the series untill season three...

Well presumably, just like Season 1, the word will be uncovered and the problem resolved before the start of the Third Series.
However, aa great twist would be to have the problem resolved on the Christmas Special, make us wait for it!
