Some sites say that John Simm will appear in the last episode, Doomsday as Sam Tyler the character he playe in Life On Mars.
Be aware most of these sites credited Davros Last YEAR.

In Satan Pit the plot is as follows: "The Doctor and Rose visit a breathtaking alien world, a colony world where food and water is scarce... and where an old enemy awaits him, an enemy that looks like the Devil..."
Who do we know who looks like that?
Th human interprtation of the devil is...Black hair and pointy Beard
The Master?! I doubt it, but you never know.

I very much doubt it...but we (think) we know the cybermen return for last episode with an enemy from the doctors past....well two unlikely ideas...
1.Davros returns attempting to get revenge on the daleks for all the times they have betrayed him and joins forces with the cybermen with the doctor caught in the middle.
2.The Master, desperate for revenge against the doctor joins forces with the cybermen and trys to kill the doc.
Oh and i no that IMBD is very unreliable and credited davros in last years final, but he is listed as a character in Doomsday.

John Barrowman is listed as appearing on two doctor who sites in episodes 12 and 13, why gyweneth is listed by one site as appearing in these episodes. tracy ann oberman is listed as head of torchwood institute by some sites in these two episodes. The Gelth may be returning (based on name) so myabe there is a link with all these....

In DWM #368, RTD DOES confirm that Torchwood have a major role to play in the last two episodes.

It is the Gelth who are returning in eps 12 and 13 and they do align themselves with the Cybermen who will be providing them with the raw material to exist in the real world. They hitched a lift in the TARDIS when the rift was opened again and could possibly be what we saw in TCI coming out of The Doctor's mouth and then into space. The TARDIS is taken over by an alien intelligence..The Gelth (?)....and turns against The Doctor. The TARDIS falls apart..whatever that means!

Billie will be leaving. Her swansong is in the next Christmas special. Rumour is either Jackie or Mickey is bumped off. Could explain why Rose decides to give up travelling with The Doctor.

The Time Lords are still alive and are scattered across the universe. Possibly in hiding in the same way the Daleks were. The Master is to return in series 3.

On the drawing board for consideration are the Ice Warriors returning in series 3.
Heard a few rumours about series 2 and what they have tentatively planned for series 3. They are just rumours and could very easily be misinformation put out by the production to throw people off the scent. I heard these from a source at the BBC so you can either take it with a large pinch of salt or get mildly excited that some or all of it might be true. I will post it under spoiler tags for those who don't want possible plot details revealed.

ok maybe, just maybe, At the end of Doomsday, Rose indeed appears to die in battle- at least to the Doctor, but not to the audience who are left retaining some hope of survival.
Then xmas special, bo reveals his four words..rose is still alive, and then series three, the doc and new companion (just thought, maybe cptn jack?!) Look for rose, cue a possible return for her. then perhaps end of s3 or the nxt xmas special, she appears, opting to stay with her mum having nearly died...
