The Runaway brideThe Daily Star has reported that the Special is a three-parter to be shown over the Christmas period, and that the Doctor will come face-to-face with a 'Cyberwoman'. [citation needed]
Other rumours from various tabloids have suggested that Sylvester McCoy, who played the Seventh Doctor, and Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith will appear in the episode. [citation needed]
Radio 1 reports that Billie Piper might appear in the episode 'in one form or another', possibly in a flashback to the concluding moments of Doomsday. [citation needed]

Good point, but the Daleks weere meant to be dead, and there wasn't a way between universes.....until 3 weeks ago.
Perhaps the rules can change to suit the storyline (like how many regenerations will there finally be?).

After a small amount of sleep an idea came to me. Oberman was "upgraded" on "our" Earth, so she may not have been pulled in the void as she may not have been contaminated/covered with the particles that were only visible through 3d specs.

I too thought of that, but maybe the equipment (grinder) used to make the 'transformation' was brought through the void. Therefore, everything it upgrades is 'suck-worthy'!

Correctamundo, as they doctor once said and never will again  , they metal suit would have been bought through with the void....a cyberman would be abe to do it in the normal world...just get hold of the materials?

I loved it! I thought Tennant played the doctors anguish over rose so well, yet made a nice connection with Donna. Not love friendship, what he should have with Martha. Parish was fantastic want those aliens back and i say...The *spoilers* appearence was great but i would prefer a return for the cybermen. And rhino heads what!?

Hey Just watched it. Jumping to the spoilers er um the PP mentioned above, If I saw it Correctly was a very specific PP. The Xmas special this year was definately better than last years. The star of the show was very much the Tardis I thought. Couple of new things were seen. er The tardis doors were open a lot!! In Outer space too! I dunno if that has happened "safely" before. The tardis is not often seen to fly and there were some good flight sequences. At the end the Tardis doesnt dematerialise but rather lifts off like a rocket. Loved the digs at the Atkins diet and all those other trivial things.
