Who would have missed Jack if he had'nt come back to life?

I cried when he died! How did you feel? My evil friend laughed! Sad
Zhord

I'm sorry but I wouldn't mourn him. Alot of other assistants of the Doctor have died in the past, so he would have been another one.
kat

i think i would, especially because of his 2 missing years, i think there's a good bit of plot in him yet.
Der Martin

Actually not too many of the Doctor's assistants have actually died. As in really dead never to return. My memory probably doesnt serve me very well but I can at the moment only think of Adric. who was obliviated at the end of Earthshock (peter davison episode). That was incredibly hairy, I remember watching it for the first time (live on air so to speak). The last scene was the Doctor and the Tardis crew just staring into space where the ship Adric was on got obliviated. No words, Just staring at the void. Then they rolled the credits over the void with no music. Absolute silence. It was devastating.

Would I miss Jack? yes but I still don't know that I want him on board the Tardis. Maybe thats the thrilling thing about him.

I would certainly miss him. The moment he died I thought the writers had been stupid, because there was just so much mistery about him. You just don't let a character like him die. He joined Rose and the Doctor so that eventually there will be soime explaining to do. I think they will go search for his missing years somewhere in the next series.

i would have missed him! not so much the character or the actor or the performance, but deffinately the bi-sexual humour! oh my god sooo funny.

anyways seriously

i kind of new he was gonna come back to life! the 2 years missing history was mysterious enough to make me think of him as more then just dalek fodder.
oh and i thought he was the master Sad. and then i thought the master was still in the tardis Sad. how wrong i was.

anyways can't wait till xmas, anyone want a jelly bean?

Bisexual humour

I was quite amazed and taken aback at the bisexual humour you just mentioned. Didn't expect to see it at all. When I did see it I thought Wow! what a brilliant way to modernize the series. Dr. Who has been known to be "Camp" before, which isn't quite the same. In fact, the whole sexual emotions thing in earlier doctor who was generally ignored. Exceptions arose when a character had to be written out of the series then it was easy to have them fall in love with someone from some world or other and have them stay there.
Sexual icons were in the series generally in the form of scantily clad young ladies just there to keep the dads watching but nothing really attatched to emotions of any kind except when a goodbye was involved. No hints of jealousy, no long embracing, no flirting. This time around the hormones have been thrown in to help us relate to the characters and there really is something for everyone. RTD has taken, in my view, a very well calculated risk which has totally paid off. Well done.
