You should probably give Russel T Davies a call and show him some references. For which other tv-series or perhaps plays have you been wrting scripts. I bet he'll also want to see a portfolio. You'll have to be a professional.

i have been working on a plot for a 2 part dr who episode, but i think it's pointless as RTD isn't going to even read a script unless you have written for a show before. The BBC should run a comp where people submit script's and the winner gets to work on a story with RTD.

i sent a few emails off to auntie BeeB, but who knows wether or not they will do it! there would be so many scripts they wouldn't be able to read them all. also can you imagine how bad some would be. how many do you think would have daleks in, ummmm 98%.
i think we would have a good chance though.... don't think there would be many people that could write as good an episode as der martin. and i love this plot im drafting at the moment, but i wouldn't want DT to play my Dr, it would have to be CE... (kiddin')

but i do agree with him though a slitheen story would be better, probably have a good chane of winning if it was good.

The BeebI dont think we should email the Beeb just yet. Some people from the Beeb will eventually, if they havent done already, look through the site. I think we should concentrate on making it the best site possible. RTD is on a roll and has achieved what he has through virtually ignoring fandom, possibly on the grounds that he is himself DWs biggest fan.

yeah i agree, but i would add i do think RTD is playing it a bit safe. Kids will love it as long as it is funny, has cool aliens, and CGI. He can afford to push the story lines a little more, doesn't need to be much just give us what we want.... pls
