Again, just cos I just saw Harry Potter, the concept of the Tardis was implemented or nicked (however you want to put it) to the tent they all used when they went to the Qwidich championships, there was a tiny tent and loads of them walked in and when Harry went in last, as he would, he says " It's so big on the inside but so small out there" in so many words.
Nicked Nicked Nicked.... they're all doing it, they are still nicking the cool concepts from DR Who.

I just remembered another one. Er When the Doctor was first banished to earth. (3rd incarnation) he was put in charge of investigating all things unexplainable and was given a very methodical scientific and sceptical assistant called liz shaw. In the beginning Liz shaw was supposed to hinder the doctor´s antics but later became a friendly cooperant and much less sceptical.
In the X.Files Agent Mulder is given the Job of investigating all things unexplainable and was given a very methodical scientific and sceptical assistant called Agent Scully. In the beginning Agent Scully ....................... etc.
Has this been mentioned before? Sorry if it has. Must be cosmic Alzheimer creeping up on me.

As far as I know it hasn't been mentioned and it's a brilliant example. It's so funny cos when I watched the X Files I was always sure I had seen that concept before and I couldn't put my finger on it, you hit the nail on the head.
