It was a good episode as everything came to an almighty ending.

Also, Hand of Fear was also a good episode as it contained alot of twists and turns in just one episode!

A hand is found in a quarry by Sarah Jane Smith who it hypnotises her to take it to the nearest power plant. There, the hand absorbs nuclear energy and fully regenerates. The female alien, called Eldrad, then asks the Doc to take her back to her home planet. There, the Doc learns that the planet is dead and that Eldrad was banished from the planet so she wiped out her entire race. Also, Eldrad was in a half-human form and regenerates into her propper self - who is actually a he. Eldrad, now as a male, claims he is king of the humans on Earth as he has nothing left on his planet. But the Doc pushes Eldrad down a canyon and they all live happily ever after...

..Well... you would think but the Doc gets a call from Gallifrey and has to drop Sarah Jane Smith off home. As he does so and leaves, SJS then realises that she is not in the right time...

The hand of fear is an awesome story. SJSs goodbye is one of the most touching things on DW history. Alongside such a goodbye rank only ...........
Tegans goodbye, and the only goodbye that (in my opinion) goes one better is Susans goodbye (first doctors grandchild)........and maybe CEs goodbye to Rose... so please go forward in all your beliefs

Yeah you are quite right ´, musnt forget about fun. Someone asked Tom Baker in an interview once::

"and do you like to have fun while you are acting in Dr. Who?"

and he replied......... "Oh yes. Got to have fun.Im not much good at all that other stuff"

I have only seen the TV-movie and the 2005 series so I think I can't really have a very good opinion.

Liked the movie a lot and from the 2005 series I liked the Boom Town episode best. It's not that spectacular or the greatest story of them all, but it had alot of very well worked out drama. To me that really added a new level of quality to the series. With the Doctor being confronted with the consequences of his actions by Margaret and Rose and Mickey being in such a dramatic situation with just leaving each other right when they shouldn't.

as with sciscens, i have only really seen the movie and 2005 series, and loved both, i think my favourite episode has to be either Empty Child or Parting of the Ways. i found Parting of the Ways really moving, especially when the Dr tricked rose into going home Crying or Very sad

from season 1 i think my new fav is the end of the world, i love the SFX and it's the first time that rose's life is really in danger, i think for n00b's to dr who that must have been a very important moment. so much of dr is the dr's compasion for his companions.

After careful deliberation and much time spent sitting in the corner of the airing cupboard, I have decided that my favourite Dr. Who episode of all time is 'Dalek'! Very Happy
