| If you could choose a writer or Director. |

If you could choose a certain writer or director to do an episode of Dr Who, who would you choose ?. I often wondered because I remember when they got Quentin Tarantino to do an ER and I remember how different, but also similar it was, his input did change the formula.
For example if James Cameron the director of Terminator and Titanic did an episode of Dr Who, what would he do....... it does get the imagination going, because when you think about it he has already done it slightly with Terminator......
Woody Allen... now what would that episode look and sound like... _________________

That does get the imagination flowing, can you imagine what it would look like, he would loose none of the essence & ingredients that makes Dr Who. But what a movie that would be, (Peter if you are reading this post, please, after making your next movie, after King Kong, please make a Dr Who). We're all sorted now he has no choice in the matter. _________________

If Tim Burton ever had a go at it I think his direction would be interesting, Woody allen would be a disaster, the doctor would probably end up commiting suicide in all his remaining generations. Peter Jackson would be nice. George Lucas is probably a bit topical but maybe a differernt director could use his special effects department at LUCASFILM.
on a less serious note Charlie Chaplin would have done a great episode, and Rowan Atkinson might have a crack at a comedy one (again). And of course I think that Billy Connolly would do equally well at both serious and comical Dr. Who

Throw in Jonh Cleese, Alan Davies, Jonathon 'W'oss and possibly Ed Burne and that is one hell of a hell of a hell of a comedy show!!!
