Dr Who exhibition past and present.

If you live in the UK, did you ever get to visit the Dr Who exhibition in Blackpool, it was the highlight of my trip, getting to see all the props and sets from the show. At the time I was visiting, Tom Baker was the main theme of the exhibition, think it was because they could get a hold of the props and things, no matter, it was a brilliant exhibition. Did a search to see if there was some info about the past exhibitions and found out that they had started up again in 2004... I saw nothing on the news or press about it, really pleased though, I've been looking for an excuse to go to Blackpool again.

This is a pic of me (on the right), outside the Dr Who exhibition, I was 14 years old, think I had visited the exhibition 3 times up to that point .

Been to Blackpool plenty of times (I really don't want to mention why).

I was never lucky enough to hear about it in 2004. Then again I have only become a Doctor Who fan since the start of the new series. Very Happy

A few years back, me and me dad visited the old Dapol factory where they created the old Dr Who toys.

We went around the exhibition there and even made our own Dalek toy to keep for a fiver to charity.

Unfortunate to hear that the place has now closed down.

Yeah, we made one each. They are white and gold Daleks and about 5" high.
