Didn't know where to post so it goes here!
I'm not gonna pretend i loved it, because i didn't. I liked it to a reasonable degree, but it doesn't grab the imagination. The story was at best average, but i loved the doctor who mentions, which is one of the reasons i kept watching. I hope it improves for the sake of the character of Sarah Jane.
The alien who Sarah Jane helps to send home is of the same race as "Mary", previously seen in the Torchwood episode Greeks Bearing Gifts, whose home planet had not been named before.
Photographs of K-9 Mark III, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, Harry Sullivan and The Doctor alongside a sketch of the TARDIS, and a diagram showing two Daleks can be seen in Sarah Jane's attic.
Sarah Jane suggests the names 'Alistair' and 'Harry' before preferring 'Luke' for her new adpoted son, apparent allusions to the Brigadier and Harry Sullivan.
